In search of the Victorian. This is a journal of my quest; to turn the back room of an Arkansas frame house into a 19th century study. A 19th century, Time-traveler's, Steampunk, Gothic vampire's study. With knobs on. And to do this on a pocket-money budget. I'm trying to get to that piece of roadside furniture before you paint it white. I'm going to make make tassels and tapestries and tea-trays and recreate gloomy, Gothic London in Arkansas' brilliant sunshine. Wish me luck...
